What is Soma?
A muscle relaxer
Important information:
It has addictive potential. You may experience withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking Soma. Do not drink alcoholic beverages while taking Soma.
Before taking this medicine:
Do not use Soma if you have an allergy to carisoprodol or meprobamate or have porphyria. Consider other options if you are allergic to any medicines or if you have a history of seizure, liver or kidney disease.
How should I take Soma?
As prescribed by your doctor.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Take as soon as possible or skip if it is too close to the next dose.
What happens if I overdose?
Symptoms may include problems breathing, seeing, are confused, hallucinating, feeling light headed, or if you have a seizure.
What should I avoid while taking Soma?
Driving, cold/allergy medicine, narcotics, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, seizure medication, and alcohol.
Soma side effects:
Paralysis, extreme weakness, lack of coordination, light-headedness, fainting, fast heartbeat, seizure, vision loss, agitation, confusion, feeling drowsy or dizzy, trouble with vision, insomnia, upset stomach, throwing up.
Soma dosing information:
Between 250 mg to 350 mg.
