Di-Gesic

What is Di-Gesic?

Di-Gesic is part of a family of medicines called analgesics, also known as painkillers. Each pill contains 32.5 mg of dextropropoxyphene hydrochloride and 325 mg of paracetamol.

Important information:

Di-Gesic is for those who find other analgesics ineffective.

Before taking this medicine:

If allergic to any of Di-Gesic’s ingredients, use alcohol or have a history of substance abuse, are over 70 years of age or have heart, liver and/or kidney issues, do not take Di-Gesic. If pregnant or planning pregnancy, speak with a doctor before taking Di-Gesic.

How should I take Di-Gesic?

The standard dosage is 2 pills every 4 hours. Swallow the pills whole with a glass of water.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Take the required dose as soon as possible. Do not double dose.

What happens if I overdose?

Call a poison control center or go straight to the nearest hospital, as a Di-Gesic overdose can be fatal.

What to avoid while taking Di-Gesic?

Avoid all antidepressants, tranquilizers, sedatives, blood thinners and muscle relaxants.

Di-Gesic side effects:

Side effects include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and sedation.
