What is Amphetamine

Amphetamine is used as an appetite suppressant and to treat ADHD.

Important information:

Do not take Amphetamine if you have heart disease, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, or a history of drug abuse.

Before taking this medicine:

Always obtain a prescription from your doctor before taking Amphetamine.

How should I take Amphetamine?

Amphetamine is taken orally with a full glass of water. Swallow the capsule whole; do not chew.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is close to time for another dose, do not take two doses at once.

What happens if I overdose?

Contact emergency medical attention immediately.

What should I avoid while taking Amphetamine?

Know how this medication affects you before operating machinery. Taking Amphetamine late in the day may cause insomnia.

Amphetamine side effects:

Side effects include anxiety, headache, insomnia and impotence.

Amphetamine dosing information:

Amphetamine dosages range from 5-35mg.

What other drugs will affect Amphetamine?

MAOI’s, insulin, and certain antidepressants may interfere with Amphetamine. Provide a complete list of your current medication to your doctor.
