Depade

What is Depade?

Depade is an opiate antagonist that is used to treat drug and alcohol addiction.

Important information:

Although rare, Depade can cause allergic reactions and liver disease. Tell any doctor that is treating you for any condition that you are taking Depade.

Before taking this medicine:

You should stop taking opiate drugs 14 days before beginning a program of Depade.

How should I take Depade?

Depade is usually taken in pill form, once a day with or without food.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Take the next prescribed dose at the scheduled time.

What happens if I overdose?

Consider this an emergency and call the poison control center or 911.

What should I avoid while taking Depade?

Avoid opiate drugs and alcohol while taking Depade. Also avoid driving if the drug makes you dizzy or drowsy.

Depade side effects:

Side effects include dizziness, restlessness, insomnia, headache and an upset stomach. Itching or swelling of the face may indicate an allergic reaction.

Depade dosing information:

Depade is most often prescribed as a 50 mg tablet to be taken once a day.

What other drugs will affect Depade?

Any medication that contains alcohol or narcotics will interact with Depade.
