Norco

What is Norco?

A combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. This medication is prescribed to patients for moderate to severe pain.

Important information:

Use of Narco during pregnancy is not advisable.

Before taking this medicine:

Notify your doctor if you are allergic to Norco, or any other narcotics. Inactive ingredients may cause allergic reactions. Notify your Physician of any significant personal or family medical history.

How should I take Narco?

Norco can be taken on an empty or full stomach.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Take Norco only as prescribed; if you miss a dose, do not double-up. Resume taking Norco at your next prescribed interval.

What happens if I overdose?

Immediately call 9-1-1, or go to the nearest Emergency Room.

What should I avoid while taking Norco?

Avoid alcohol use, driving, and operating machinery while taking Norco.

Norco side effects:

The following side effects have been noted when using Norco:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Constipation
  • Dizziness
  • Drowsiness

Only take Norco as prescribed by your Physician.

What other drugs will affect Norco?

If you have taken MAO (Monoamine Oxidase) inhibitors within the past 14 days, do not use Norco as it may cause a dangerous drug interaction.
