What is Roxicodone?

Roxicodone is an opioid pain medication, also known as oxycodone.

Roxicodone can significantly slow down your breathing. It can also cause addiction.

Before taking this medicine:

Tell your doctor if you have respiratory problems, allergies to any narcotics.

How should I take Roxicodone?

Follow the prescription label instructions. Swallow the pill whole, do not crush or break open.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Do not consume double doses.

What happens if I overdose?

Oxycodone overdoses can be fatal. Immediately call a medical emergency line or a poison control line.

What should I avoid while taking Roxicodone?

Do not mix this drug with alcohol. Do not operate cars or other heavy machinery while under roxicodone. Avoid taking roxicodone if you are pregnant. Do not use if you are already taking another opioid medicine.

Roxicodone side effects:

Common effects are drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, headaches, vomiting, dry mouth and itchiness. Dangerous effects include shallow breathing, slow heart rate, coldness, seizure and confusion.
