What is Nembutal?

Nembutal is a barbiturate that is used as a sedative and in lethal injections.

Nembutal is a barbiturate and as such may be habit forming.

Before taking this medicine:

If you are or have previously been addicted to any kind of drug or alcohol, if you’ve had kidney or liver disease, if you have respiratory diseases such as asthma or COPD, or if you have been in a state where you have considered suicide, you should consult your doctor before taking Nembutal as you may be unable to take it safely.

How should I take Nembutal?

Nembutal is usually given as an intramuscular injection or into a vein, and it should be injected slowly.

What happens if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, make sure to take your next dose when scheduled. It is not advised to take more to make up for that dose.

What happens if I overdose?

If you overdose, seek medical attention immediately.

Nembutal side effects:

Nembutal side effects may include hallucinations, confusion, lethargy, slow/weak pulse, and nausea/vomiting.

What other drugs will affect Nembutal?

Medications such as blood thinners, doxycycline, birth control medication, and steroids such as prednisone may interact negatively with Nembutal.

Nembutal dosing information:

The usual Nembutal dosage for a fully grown adult is 150mg-200mg in a single intramuscular injection.
