What is Dextrostat?

Dextrostat is a stimulant used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy.

Important information:

Dextrostat should not be used by individuals with glaucoma, high blood pressure, or heart disease. Dextrostat may impair alertness and reaction time.

Be aware that Dextrostat can be addictive and has a high potential for abuse.

How should I take Dextrostat?

Dextrostat is a tablet that should be taken orally once to three times a day, depending on your doctor’s instructions.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Take the missed dose as soon as possible.

What happens if I overdose?

Seek emergency treatment immediately. Overdoses can be fatal.

What should I avoid while taking Dextrostat?

Avoid drinking fruit juice within 30 minutes of ingesting Dextrostat.

Dextrostat side effects:

The most common side effects are loss of appetite, insomnia, and decreased libido. Dextrostat can impair the growth of children. It can also cause heart problems, including heart attacks, stroke, and sudden death. Its use has been linked with the development of psychiatric problems.

Dextrostat dosing information:

Dextrostat is taken at 5 to 60 mg per day.
