What is Avinza?

Avinza is an opioid medication used to treat moderate to severe pain.

Important information:

Do not take more than what you are prescribed. Do not take if you have severe asthma or respiratory problems. Avinza can become addictive.

Make sure you are not allergic to morphine or narcotic substances.

How should I take Avinza?

Follow the instructions as prescribed by your doctor. Do not store avinza in hot environments. Take each pill at the same time everyday.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Do not consume a double dose if you missed one dose.

What happens if I overdose?

Contact a medical emergency line if you suspect an overdose. Signs of overdose are slow or fast heart rate, chest pain, extreme drowsiness, slow breathing, and feeling like you could pass out.

What should I avoid while taking Avinza?

Alcohol combined with morphine is a dangerous mix. Also avoid high functioning activities such as driving while under the influence of avinza.

Drowsiness, dizziness, headache, anxiety, nausea, constipation, itchiness.
