Kapanol

What is Kapanol?

Kapanol is an exclusive form of morphine which is available with a doctor’s prescription. It is an opiate used to treat chronic pain related to cancer and other severe illnesses.

Important information:

The chemical elements in Kapanol are closely related to the elements in heroin. Many doctors will use this drug to treat patients that are detoxifying from heroin. This close chemical relation makes Kapanol a potentially addictive drug. For this reason, it is best to avoid this medicine unless your body has a tolerance for opiates.

Before taking this medicine:

If your body can tolerate opiates, it would still be wise to consult a physician before taking this medicine. You will need a proper dosage recommendation so you can avert the possibility of an accidental overdose.

How should I take Kapanol?

Kapanol is normally available in capsule form. Physicians reccomend swallowing each capsle whole. If you have trouble swallowing capsules, open them and place the contents in the pill on apple sauce, ice cream, yogurt, or similar foods.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Please contact your physician if you happen to miss a dose accidentally.

What happens if I overdose?

Call the Poison Control Center immediately if you or someone you know happens to ingest too much Kapanol. Even if there are no immediate effects, you may still need medical assistance.

What should I avoid while taking Kapanol?

Avoid alcohol, even at moderate amounts, while you are taking Kapanol. You must also make sure you do not ingest foods or liquids containing alcohol.

Kapanol side effects:

Common Kapanol side effects include fatigue, nausea, difficulty breathing, headache, constipation, and drowsiness

Kapanol dosage information:

Since it is a slow-release drug, doctors will normally reccomend 20mg of Kapanol every 12 hours. Dosage amounts may vary for patients who have a tolerance for opiates.
