What is Damason-P?

Damason-P is a combination of aspirin and hydrocodone that is used to relieve pain.

Important information:

Do not use Damason-P if you are allergic to aspirin or have a bleeding disorder. Damason-P is addictive.

Before taking this medicine:

Tell your doctor about any other drugs or supplements you are taking.

How should I take Damason-P?

Damason-P is a tablet or capsule that should be taken according to your doctor’s instructions.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Damason-P is often taken “as needed,” but If you are on a set schedule, take the next scheduled dose.

What happens if I overdose?

This is an emergency. Call 911 if you experience dizziness, vomiting, or changes in heart rate or breathing.

What should I avoid while taking Damason-P?

Aspirin and acetaminophen should not be combined with Damason-P. Alcohol should be avoided. Avoid driving if the drug makes you drowsy.

Damason-P side effects:

Non-emergency side effects include constipation, upset stomach, headaches and restlessness.

Damason-P dosing information:

Damason-P is usually taken at the prescribed dosage every four hours with food or water.

What other drugs will affect Damason-P?

Over-the-counter medications that contain aspirin, NSAID drugs, and antidepressants will all interact with Damason-P.
